Free Trial Class
Flowing Waters Academy encourages all prospective students to visit the school and attend a free, one on one trial class with our master instructor. While students are welcomed to observe a group class at any time, it is encouraged that students participate in a free trial class to get an idea of what to expect when enrolled at the school and to see if the programs offered are the right fit for each prospective student.
For these reasons, we encourage each student to register for their free private trial class for any of our programs offered before signing up. Reserve your free trial class today by calling us at (781) 878-0370 or e-maling flowingwatersacademy@gmail.com. Please leave your name, phone number, and times that work for you and we will arrange a free private trial class for that time.
What to Expect
Students are expected to arrive to their group class on time. If a student is late for class, it is asked that student try not to disrupt the class in progress as they quietly come in and participate.
Students should wear comfortable training clothing with training shoes (sneakers). If the student does not have training clothes to wear, they can be purchased at the studio. Students enrolled in our Shaolin Kung Fu classes are required to have an academy uniform and are expected to wear it when they arrive to class. Students can change into their training clothes, using our bathroom facilities, just as long as they are ready to go by the start of class.
Students are expected to train together in their group class and individually, within their physical abilities, and strive for gradual improvement in their martial art. Flowing Waters Academy also expects students to respect our core values while they are in the studio. If a student shows disrespect towards the studio, class, or other students, he or she will be asked to leave the studio.
Eligibility
Prospective students must be at least 16 years of age or older to enroll in classes in any program. Students, who are 16 or 17 years old, must initially come in with a parent or guardian to their chosen trial class to meet the instructor and show that they have permission from their parent or guardian to try a class.
Flowing Waters Academy encourages prospective students to try a free, no obligation class in any program to experience the martial arts programs offered before commitment.
