How do I register for classes at Flowing Waters Academy?
A prospective student can register for classes online or fill out a registration form at one of our locations. Please see registration section for further information.
Does Flowing Waters Academy have additional locations?
Flowing Waters Academy currently operates the Norwell location only. Students will be notified if another location arises.
What should I expect as a new student at Flowing Waters Academy?
Flowing Waters Academy strives to engage new students in the art that he or she is interested in. Students are expected to train together as a class and individually within their physical abilities and strive for gradual improvement as they advance through the training.
Can I try a class in Shaolin Kung Fu, Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan, or Chi Gong before committing?
Prospective students are encouraged to try our free, no obligation class in Shaolin Kung Fu, Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan, or Chi Gong. This way the student can experience the movements and flow that could not be addressed just by observing.
What are the class sizes?
Semi-private training class sizes are up to a maximum of 6 students per class in any program offered. Group traning class sizes are up to a maximum of 12 students per class in any program offered.
Do I have to attend every class?
For the benefit of the student's progression in the arts, it is highly recommended that students attend each class on time. If a student is late for a class, it is required that the student quietly come in and join, without any disruption to the class in progress.
Does Flowing Waters Academy offer private training in Shaolin Kung Fu, Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan, or Chi Gong?
Yes. Private training and group training in Shaolin Kung Fu, Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan, or Chi Gong are both provided. Please see the schedules & rates section for more details or contact us for further information.
Do I need to buy a uniform?
Uniforms are required for students that have registered for our Shaolin Kung Fu program. Uniforms are not required for our Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan or Chi Gong programs, but are offered separately for those who would like one. Please contact Flowing Waters Academy for more details.
